Fundraising, case management, volunteers, and events — finally in one place. Built in the UK, for UK charities. Free to start, and designed to grow with you.
Fundraising, case management, volunteer coordination, and events — all in a single platform, not bolted-on modules.
Track one-off gifts, regular giving, Gift Aid, and GASDS in one place. Accept Apple Pay and Google Pay. Launch crowdfunding pages. See your income in real time.
Shift scheduling, skills matching, DBS tracking, and hour logging. Know who's available, who's qualified, and who's overdue a thank-you.
Real case management — not just a renamed pipeline. AI-generated case notes from voice recordings, safeguarding workflows, standardised outcome frameworks, and reporting that funders actually want to see.
Whether it's a fundraising dinner, a weekly craft group, or a volunteer training day, Alder CRM handles registration, check-in, and attendance tracking. Touch-screen kiosk mode lets participants sign themselves in — no queues, no clipboards.
A full newsletter engine built in, not bolted on. Segment your supporters, design campaigns with the visual editor, manage subscriptions properly, and see exactly who opened, clicked, and donated.
From discovery to drawdown, Alder CRM manages your entire grant pipeline — with AI that actively searches for opportunities you might miss and helps you write stronger applications.
Staff and volunteer training records, policy management with read-receipts, DBS tracking, and safeguarding logs. Know who's completed what — and who hasn't — before your next audit or funding application.
Kanban boards for every team, threaded comments on tasks, and real-time notifications that keep everyone in sync. Assign follow-ups to a person or link them to a case, a grant application, or a safeguarding record — tasks live where the work lives.
Trustee declarations of interest, board meeting records, decision logs, and conflicts of interest forms — all in one place. Plus a built-in scheduling tool to find times that work for busy trustees.
Real-time reporting for trustees, funders, and your own team. Ask questions in plain English — "show me donors who gave over £1,000 last quarter" — and get answers instantly.
Stripe, GoCardless, HMRC, Charity Commission, Xero, Mailchimp — and a full REST API with webhooks for anything else. No more manual data entry between systems.
Connecting external AI services may incur additional charges from those providers.
Most charity CRMs force you to choose between fundraising and service delivery. Alder CRM doesn't.
Donor info in one system, volunteers in a spreadsheet, case notes in a shared drive. Most charities still re-key data between disconnected systems.
Enterprise CRMs can cost £10k+ a year. Even mid-range options charge over £100/month for basic features. 86% of UK charities have income under £500k — these prices don't add up.
Fundraising CRMs don't do case management. Case management systems don't handle donations. You end up buying two tools and syncing between them.
Migration can cost thousands and take weeks of retraining. Vendors know this, so they stop innovating once they've got you.
"Contact us for a quote" means unpredictable costs. Feature gating means the tools you actually need are always on the next tier up.
UK charities spend an estimated 15.8 million hours a year on grant monitoring reports alone — roughly £204m in staff time (Plinth, 2025). That's money not reaching beneficiaries.
No feature gating. No hidden costs. Every charity gets access to everything — the only difference is scale.
All features in all tiers. Fundraising, case management, volunteers, events, Gift Aid, reporting — everything. Always.
Not a trial. Not a demo. A genuinely useful free plan for micro-charities and those trying a CRM for the first time. 500 contacts, 3 users, every feature.
Every charity gets every feature. No paying extra for Gift Aid, case management, or event ticketing. The only difference between tiers is scale.
HMRC Gift Aid and GASDS built in. UK data residency. Charity Commission integration. Not a US product with a UK postcode bolted on.
Donations, volunteer hours, event attendance, case notes — all on one record. No more switching between systems to understand a relationship.
Moving CRM shouldn't be a six-month project. We've built migration tools for the platforms UK charities actually use, and our team will handle the heavy lifting. Free migration is included with all paid plans.
Download from your current CRM, or give us read-only access and we'll do it for you.
Our migration tools map your fields, deduplicate contacts, and flag anything that needs attention.
Check everything looks right in a staging environment, then switch over. Your data, your timeline.
On the free plan? You can import contacts yourself using our self-service CSV and Excel upload tool.
Alder CRM is built by James Inman, founder and trustee of neurobetter — a UK charity supporting neurodivergent mental health. He's spent years working at the intersection of technology, governance, and the charity sector, and spent over a decade building child protection and case management systems for schools.
This isn't a product built by people guessing what charities need from the outside. It comes from direct experience of running a charity, sitting on a board, managing safeguarding responsibilities, wrestling with compliance, and knowing that the existing tools don't quite fit.
We're onboarding a small number of charities now — working closely with each one to make sure Alder CRM fits perfectly. Register your interest or book a call, and we'll take it from there.
We'll ask about your charity, what you're using today, and what you need. No pressure, no hard sell — just a conversation.
Like the alder tree, we help charities put down deep roots and nourish the communities around them.
